Elective Courses....
This spring semester I had to chose an elective that related to my concentration (Visual Merchandising), the moment I saw that my school offered Fashion photography I knew that was the elective I would be taking. During this class i have learned so much about not only fashion photography but photography in general. Through this course I have been able to pinpoint my photography mistakes and have learned tips and tricks to correct them.

Photo Shoot...
My fashion Photography professor took all of the class to his photo studio were we not only witnessed a real life photo shoot but took part in one as well. We learned a lot about lights and how pose a model. This experience has been the best, it has taught me to be more comfortable behind the camera.
The Photo Gallery...
All images were taken with the SONNY A5100 on Manual
The Photography...
My professor taught the class a cool lighting trick, where you place your subject in front of a projection screen and project any image you want to create not only an amazing back ground but also lines and shapes across the face. This trick is amazing because you can create so many cool and visually inciting images based off of the model and the image being projected.
We also learned about portrait lighting. The last few images were taken with a mono-light which is a high streamed continuous light source. the mono-light is useful because you ca put gels in front of it to create different color combinations.
