Six summers ago Dana and Titus tied the knot. The pair were a match made.
Where it all began....
Six years ago my aunt married her soulmate, and I had the amazing opportunity to be the photographer for their wedding. This was my first real job as the the family photographer. During this time photography was still just a hobby I enjoyed doing, and I thought to myself I was far from being a professional. I didn't feel qualified to take the pictures of her wedding day. So when my aunt presented me with this amazing opportunity I was super nervous. This was her big day after all!
I wanted to capture everything so she when she looked back at these pictures she would remember every detail, and how happy she was.

The Wedding...
The Wedding was beautiful and filed with love and laughter. Coming from a big family it was no surprise that everyone showed up for this special occasion but I wanted the main focus of the pictures to be around the Bride and the Groom. I was able to capture so many beautiful moments. Not only was able to capture those special moments between the bride and groom but I was also able to capture special moments they shared with their children and their immediate family.

The Photography...
Since I was still new to photography, I didn't know anything about the camera I was using (Nikon D40) so I shot everything in auto. Looking back and after taking my Fashion Photography class I noticed a lot of mistakes i made and how I could have correected them.
For this being my first time being a photographer for an event I think I did pretty well and I am happy with the way the most of the pictures cam out. Now when I photograph events i know that I'll be able to create better images if I shoot in Manuel and adjust my camera settings to my surroundings.
