Identity System

Branding, Visual Identity, Graphic Design, Professional Development

The Challenge:

When a portfolio spans Market Analytics, Fashion Design, and Social Advocacy, the greatest challenge is creating a "visual anchor" that makes the creator feel like a specialist in all of them. The goal was to design a personal brand that felt "High-End Minimalist"—clean enough to let the work shine, but distinct enough to be memorable to hiring managers.

The Strategy:

I developed an identity system rooted in "Earth-Toned Professionalism." By utilizing a palette of deep espressos, stone wares, and rosewood browns, I created a brand feel that is grounded, sophisticated, and warm. The logo system utilizes a versatile combination of a full wordmark and a minimalist "Jh" monogram, allowing for consistent branding across everything from tiny social media icons to large-scale presentation decks.

Design & Identity Highlights:

  • Logo Architecture: Developed a primary wordmark and a "Jh" monogram variation for flexible application across different media.

  • Curated Color Palette: Misty Haze (#CEC5C0) & Stone Ware (#A7958E): Neutral bases for a clean, modern feel. Rosewood Brown (#753318) & Espresso (#563428): Deep tones that convey authority and history.

  • Collateral Suite: Designed a full set of professional documents, including business cards and a standardized letterhead layout, ensuring that every communication with a potential employer is "on-brand."

  • Typography & Layout: Focused on a hierarchy that emphasizes clarity and "white space," reflecting an organized mind and a high attention to deta

Key Deliverables:

  • Master Logo System: Primary wordmark and minimalist monogram variations.

  • Brand Style Guide: Definition of the "Earth-Toned" color palette and typography standards.

  • Professional Collateral: Custom-designed business cards, letterheads, and digital cover letter templates.
